A better way to get management of psychiatric medications for your patients, that also works for you.
Patients in talk therapy needing medications
Patients in primary care needing specialty management
healthPiper was started by Joshua Freedman MD, a graduate of Yale Medical School and a clinical professor of psychiatry at UCLA*. He served as editor of the computers in psychiatry column of the American psychiatric Association peer-reviewed journal Hospital and Community Psychiatry, and as president of the American Association for Technology in Psychiatry.

He founded healthPiper to make high quality psychiatric medication management available through the Internet. healthPiper started treating patients in California over six years ago and has steadily added additional states.

We hire only top clinicians, all with specialty training in the medication treatment of psychiatric symptoms. We provide concierge-level service, with a 4.99 average rating on Google certified reviews.io.

We are designed to work seamlessly with you and your patients, providing you updates on their medications, tracking of their response to treatment, and providing you your own HIPAA-secure portal for easy communication between you and us as needed.

The cost is $299 a month, including all clinician time. Most of our patients use their insurance to pay for medications at the pharmacy. We can provide a superbill that patients can submit to their insurance to seek reimbursement for our clinical services, and usually at least the initial one-hour videochat evaluation is reimbursed. Alternatively, they can pay with FSA and HSA.
